My name is Maram. I'm 34 years old, and I'm from Gaza. I used to live a simple, peaceful life in a small home with my husband and children. We didn’t have much, but we had safety, love, and warm bread. Then, everything changed. An airstrike destroyed our home. We barely escaped with our lives. I was pregnant with my baby girl, Eman, and I was holding the hands of my other four children: Ameer (8 years old), Razan (7), Jameel (6), and Roa (4). We ran through rubble and smoke, through fear and chaos. We found shelter in a tent not a real home, just torn fabric and dirt floors. That’s where I gave birth to Eman, in the middle of the night, under bombing and without any medical care. No doctor, no nurse, not even a blanket to wrap her in. She’s two months old now… and she's hungry. I can’t breastfeed because I’m barely eating myself. We have no baby formula, and we can’t afford diapers. The crossings are closed. Aid can't get in. There’s no flour, barely any food. My children are hungry, and there’s nothing I can do but hold them and cry silently. We are trapped. Under siege. Under bombs. And now under starvation.
