Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy describes what information Scanner collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Scanner ("we", "us") operates scanner.net and its related apps, including the browser extension, the Telegram mini app, the embed and the API (together, "the Service"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Service and how we use it.
Account information: when you sign in, our authentication provider gives us an account identifier and the login method you chose, such as an email address or a wallet address. Wallet-only accounts have no email address.
Usage you create: scan history, saved wallets and groups, investigations, workspaces, API keys and the settings you choose, so they are there the next time you sign in.
Billing information: if you subscribe, payment is handled by our payment processor. We receive your plan, billing status and a customer reference. We never receive or store your full card number.
Messages you send us: anything you submit through feedback or support forms, including any contact details you add.
Product analytics: we record which pages and features are used, in aggregate, through our own first-party analytics. We do not put wallet addresses, emails or scan targets into analytics events, and we send nothing when your browser has Do Not Track turned on.
Technical data: like most websites, our servers log IP addresses, browser type and request details to keep the Service secure, enforce rate limits and fix errors.
The Service analyses data that is already public on blockchains. Wallet addresses, transactions and balances are public by design and are not personal data we collected from you. We may label addresses (for example, as an exchange or a known entity) based on public sources and our own analysis.
We use the information above to run and secure the Service, keep you signed in, save your work, process subscriptions, answer support requests, prevent abuse, and understand which features to improve. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
We use a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage entries that are needed for the Service to work, such as keeping your session, remembering that you are signed in, and remembering preferences like light or dark mode. Our analytics keeps a random per-tab session id that is deleted when the tab closes. We do not use advertising cookies.
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, and only what they need: authentication, payment processing, database and hosting infrastructure, and blockchain data providers that answer the queries you run. These providers process data on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the Service, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
We keep account data and the work you save for as long as your account is active. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data unless we must keep it for legal reasons.
We use encryption in transit, access controls and hashed API keys to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can view and change your saved data from your dashboard, delete saved wallets and history, and cancel a subscription at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us through our support page.
The Service is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens, we rely on their contractual safeguards for the transfer.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date at the top shows the latest revision.
If you have questions about this policy or your data, please contact us through our support page. Our Terms and Conditions, at scanner.net/terms, cover the rest of your use of the Service.
